Here's a video on how to use iMovie.

Here's a quick tutorial from me:

1. Go to applications and open iMovie.

(it'll ask you if you want to import thumbnails. Click "later.")

2. Go to file, click "New Project," name your project and hit enter.

3. Go to file, import from camera (your video camera should be attached) and hit enter.

4. Wait while the files are imported.

Here's a screenshot of iMovie with files imported:

iMovie desktop.tiff

5. The files you imported rest on the bottom. There is a slide rule on the right, bottom corner. Depending on which way you move it, the more frames from that clip will be shown.

6. Select the scenes you want and then drag them to the top box. You can edit up there.

7. Repeat this step until you have your movie in chronological order.

8. Add music if you want to. Apple+1 brings up music and sound effects

9. Add transitions. Apple+2 brings up transitions

10. Add a title and credits. Apple+3 brings up this box.

11. Save your movie.

12. Go to Share and decide whether you want to share this file via YouTube, or whether you would rather burn it to a CD (Choose export to Quicktime if that's the case)
