Project Objective: In this project, you will take a peripheral character and describe a scene from The Adventures of Tom Sawyer from his or her point of view. For example, you will describe the fight between Tom and the new boy from the first chapter from the new boy's point of view. Or maybe you'll describe Becky's first encounter with Tom from Becky's point of view.

After completing this project, your group would have done the following:

1. Create a wiki page that details each group member's activity and duties.
2. Write and edit a complete script on a Google Document.
3. Create several hand puppets of characters in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and their costumes.
4. Create a stage in which a puppet show will be performed.
5. Film the puppet show and then upload it to iMovie or Windows Movie Maker.
6. Save the movie as a DVD, as an mpeg, or as a Quicktime movie and you will burn that to a CD.

Directions on how to do these will be available both in an online format and as a PDF in the project folders on the right.

Note: I will have access to your group's wikis and access to your group's Google Documents. However, you will not print out anything. The only thing I will collect for this project is the movie DVD.

Advice: After creating the script and wiki page, have a strong shopping list and visit Michael's.
